For those who don't know, SHA-512 is a cryptographic hash function, and what hash functions do is convert an original input into a unique gobbledygook output.
The function is one way in that you can't directly recreate the original input from the "coded" output.
They're used for message/data verification, and what this means is that Lin's password is apparently truly connected to Kappy.

Hi guys, I'm new to conspiracy.win after I saw the post today about Italygate stuff being deleted from Reddit.
Sorry for my stupidness here, but can someone eli5 what information/idea is being presented here?
supposedly, Lin Wood is tweeting the crypto keys for Isaac Kappy's deadman's switch. another group has the files, though.
tangentially, cultstate is kinda interesting just as a conspiracy site

Did he get that from a satire website as well?
MY understanding is there is no way for him to have a password which matches the hash unless he was given it, directly or through a contact, by the person who created the password/hash combo in the first place i.e. Kappy or whoever tweeted it from Kappy's acc.
