I’ve seen people question if anything is up there at all. I can safely say I’ve seen a friend photograph the ISS multiple times from his backyard set up. He tracks the positional information and snaps a few hundred pics at the right time. It’s up there all right.
Yeah sorry, don’t think I clarified my position well in the above comment. I’ve seen enough to make time question the legitimacy of a manned ISS, but there is definitely something up there. The difficult part to come to terms with, is narrative that surrounds that.
Some people think there is a firmament, and it’s a projection like the stars, other think it’s possibly a balloon or conventionally powered aircraft. Some believe there are no satellites which makes it hard to explain its movement and the movement of other satellites. I’ve seen the gravity is not real narrative also.
So all I know for sure, is that with a backyard camera observatory. You can track it and photograph it at set times. That’s all I know.
The "ISS" exists in "space" but it's unmanned. It's probably a high tech drone or aircraft of some sort.
ISS footage is shot in earth though.

It's up there. But they can't prove its got "astronauts" inside it.
