Yep! We watched and really liked the uk version when it aired a few years ago, disappointed that it was cancelled but soon learned that an american version was considered to be made so they axed the uk one

I remember part of what we liked about the uk version was the style it was shot in, ie the colors of the scenes and the feel of the show

Yeah. I know exactly what you mean. I figured stuff like that would be lost in the US version. It's on my watch list but nothing I have read has given me much enthusiasm to watch it. I'll probably just re-watch the original again.
