we can make out 1mile radius elements with really really good equipment and luck with the atmosphere. that's a far cry from like finding a vehicle.

billions dont always beat our current understanding of physics. telescopes in satellites are barely better and very hard to upgrade, so basically we've to send a spaceship to the moons orbit and 22billions won't cut it lol

I think you greatly underestimate how large those craters are, it's a nice crisp moon photo but it doesn't come anywhere near the detail required to clearly show a human-scale object.

As others have pointed out to no avail, there are limitations of the laws of physics when it comes to the size lenses that would be required to do what you're suggesting.

You can't buy an exception to the laws of physics.

Nah, that's just for us peons. Here is what they are really hiding: [REDACTED]

They have launched thousands of KH11 satellites and some must be around the moon. So they have the capability to take details of the moon. My guess is that the reason they don't show those pictures is not because things are missing from the moon but there are things on the moon they don't want you to see.

Pretty neat picture. Still a shit ton of compression artifacts so you still can't see shit when you zoom in. I would love to see the RAW uncompressed sources this dude took.

Pretty clear considering atmospheric distortion that is always caused by any astro photography.

Learn about focal range and how lenses work.

Edit: Holy fuck I feel more dumb just from interacting with the idiot in this thread who don't even know how a camera works.

Do you know how big the lens of a telescope on earth would have to be to focus on a small object on the moon's surface? Look it up, then come back here and realise how stupid this is.

This has nothing to do with NASA and everything to do with grade 8 optics, but stay ignorant, you're a fucking laughing stock to anyone with a brain.

The ignorance here is astounding. I learnt optics in fucking grade 8 physics 25 years ago and still remember more than you fucking morons.

DO THE FUCKING NUMBERS YOURSELF.

I'm not gobbling any agencies cock. I've worked in photography and Video editing. I know how lenses work. I'm not going to go any deeper than that and explain it to you, I'm just going to laugh at your lack of education on everything you post. It's frankly fucking hilarious at this point.

You're the idiot that keeps on giving. Even my fucking dad laughed at this one.

You're just dumb. Is not even funny at this point. Every word you type just makes you look more ignorant. You're here laughing it up about being 100% wrong. It's just dad honestly.

It's not even a debate here you're just fucking wrong.

Let me ask you a question. Forget NASA... Do you have any concept of how a telescope or camera works?
