$600 is a tremendous amount of money and is too large of an amount for most Americans to manage, especially after paying the required income taxes. I think the $600 payment should be cancelled and rolled into either foreign aid to an important ally like Afghanistan or used as aid for our battered financial sector. Wall Street could really use the help.
