Apparently, it's an At&T data center, connected with Solar winds and connected with dominion voting machines.
Again, not confirmed, but sounds about right. Deep state war raging right now, they are running around trying to get rid of evidence. But I'm confident Trump is playing coy right now. He's got everything he needs. But there might be people trying to individually get rid of the evidence that connects them before the ax comes down.
Two conspiracy narratives developing. One is voting machines, the other is data center. Word is that the data center was hardened and that a simple blast would not take the center out. So, this leaves a military type attack. Does the CIA have the military munitions, or did a faction of the military do it? If it was a deep state attack, does that mean the resulting outages was to blind the NSA? Is the NSA white or black hat intelligence? If the real target was the data center, was the voting machine story just another layer of misinformation?
Damn fog of war. Can't tell what's really going on. :/
You can take out the data center with a sawzall, simply open the vaults and handholes in the street where the fibers enter the building and cut them. Or blow up a manhole across the street from a patsy RV. Which is what they did.
This isn't the movies. You really think that there's just one data line going into the building?
Any competent data center has multiple physically separate ingress/egress points. When I ran a rack of servers 20 years ago, the data center that hosted them had three different points on the building that internet came to, from three different peers.
There was clearly something there that was a single point of failure, but it wasn't something that a sawzall alone would take out.
You are talking out your ass.You dont know what you are talking about.
Any competent data center?
There arent many.
How many data centers do you locate all of the buried utilties for? Asking for me because I do and have done so in dozens of states. Cut the feeds to the building and it is down until they splice in new lines.
Your old data center had three lines cool. So someone opens 3 handholes and cuts the cables. Now your data center is down in about 15 minutes.
I read that the only reason there was an outage was because they cut the power. Half of the block was destroyed. I’m sure there were a great deal of downed power lines or other extremely dangerous electrical issues. Of course you would cut the power. And yes, there is a fail safe back up.... a natural gas powered generator. The natural gas was also turned off to prevent further explosion.
I had a feeling about this since the moment I heard about the explosion. Maybe this information doesn't matter, but let's say that the machines that were connected to the internet. It's likely that they were connected to the same internet the county/city has.
Well depending on the HDDs used in the data enter, you only need a sufficiently high sound and vibration to corrupt a bunch of data. Hopefully they were using solid state storage.
I'm reading on Twitter.

In war, you try to make the moves that benefit you for more than one reason.

What's interesting about this is (in Atlanta's example) their govt. website is registered through Akamai Technologies. Looked into them and found this https://www.akamai.com/us/en/about/news/press/2020-press/akamai-and-att-extend-relationship-through-2023.jsp as they have a relationship with AT&T. So what if this was an attack on their data center to erase any tracks, or something related to solar winds/dominion?

EMP combination? That would fry electronics.
The electronics in that building is probably EMP-protected, what is
easy to do
doubles as a shield against wifi data exfiltration
