An opportunity is a "favorable circumstance", which represents the consequence of a positive action, but since we are within ever changing circumstances, we need to adapt to whatever comes; not plan in accordance to the outcomes we want. Adherence to need is what creates opportunities; but you cannot intent to work towards them, because that would switch the focus from sustaining that which is onto that which might be. It's a temptation. You can and should take opportunities whenever they present themselves, but ones priority needs to always be on self sustenance.
