Personally I think that it's possible for two separate people to come to the same wrong conclusion without anything paranormal. I spent quite a bit of time in this rabbit hole, hence the name. While the ME is interesting as hell, I truly believe it's a mental thing and we could learn a lot from seeing how people think alike.

Or maybe there's some group consciousness thing going on where we pick up brainwaves from other people like those penis shrinking panics (which is hilarious by the way).

We have so much to learn about the brain and memories that I personally don't think we have to go into a supernatural explanation. Those bears still fuck with me though, but I can pass that off as being a kid and the cursive writing.
