Notice the gates to the Prison are "open". This is because the first lesson is self control. The two guards are actually trustees. We intend people in prison to eventually rejoin society don't we?

no, we dont, rehabilitation doesnt work for everything. Some people just criminals, telling them crime is bad will not stop them. and to think TV is the only thing that makes crime or poverty is a joke.

TV is the only thing that makes crime or poverty is a joke.

Fiat money & corruption in high places make poverty.

Crime is another subject all together.

Only excessive TV watching would make someone believe that

crime or poverty

are linked in any way.

Murder is punished by death.

explain the entirety of human existence before TV. Why didnt we have this before TV? You made a trash argument, and then when you got called out you try to say its not about TV. Theres a whole lot of crimes, not just murder. you have no standing on any of this. I make the same claim "oh if we didnt have borders the world would be perfect!" but its all a garbage thesis

you have no standing on any of this.

I don't?

With tolerable taxes, no state debt and no interest to pay, England enjoyed a period of unparalleled growth and prosperity. The average labourer worked only 14 weeks and enjoyed 160 to 180 holidays.

According to Lord William Leverhulme, a writer of that time, “The men of the 15th century were very well paid”, in fact so well paid that the purchasing power of their wages and their standard of living would only be exceeded in the late 19th century. A labourer could provide for all the necessities his family required. They were well clothed in good woollen cloth and had plenty of meat and bread.

But then England adopted A central Bank, State debt, and started waging wars on everyone.

Done through the propaganda techniques of

  • pampleteering

  • news papers

  • Radio

  • recently Television

  • and now "verified" social media.

So you really do have nothing to contribute to the discussion.

Take the 3rd picture for example "2 Generation Home".

When was the Automobile invented?

1885

.

When did Henry Ford start mass producing Automobiles for the public?

1908

It only took 23 years. About one generation.

When was the Helicopter invented?

1907

Five generations ago.

Don't you think we should have family helicopters... by now?

Take the 2nd picture for example "Single Family Home".

It was intended to imply each young family would get a custom made home designed by a great architect.

We used to respect Architects, Lawyers, Doctors, and Engineers in this country, instead of Actors, Athletes, and Singers.

Take the 4th picture for example "3 Generation home". We have a picture of a nice five story home built right onto the ocean, with the family yacht in in the foreground. This would include Grand parents, Parents, and all the kids, aka 3 generations.

.

Now consider what TV says over and over again as a "major insult". They say "I bet you still live in your mother's basement", or "probably a basement dweller". Why is TV so dead set against mutigenerational homes?

Is it because they are against multigenerational wealth?

Bullshit. Class hierarchy is an intrinsic part of capitalism. There would be poverty in America no matter how much TV the democrats (or anyone) watched.

Define "Class".

I have my definition, as shown in the tiers of quality in the OP picture.

But I'm interested in your, or what you consider "the", definition of "Class" is.

Class is a categorization of the level of control one has over their own life and over the lives of others. In capitalist terms, this generally reflects the amount of money one has.

I can agree with that as an effective definition.

A saying I heard once, that supports your definition, was that "Money = Political Power". The implication being that "of course the rich and wealthy should have more influence.

If you will indulge me a few moments I would like to tease out one minor little problem.

Middle Class: used to mean servants.

We have the actual budget from when Woodrow Wilson was just a College Professor and his Wife did the budget. Included were salaries for two live in servants. The Gardener, and the Maid.

Tell me. Do any of the so-called Middle Class people you know, have or could even support full time, live in servants?
