Define "Class".
I have my definition, as shown in the tiers of quality in the OP picture.
But I'm interested in your, or what you consider "the", definition of "Class" is.
Class is a categorization of the level of control one has over their own life and over the lives of others. In capitalist terms, this generally reflects the amount of money one has.
I can agree with that as an effective definition.
A saying I heard once, that supports your definition, was that "Money = Political Power". The implication being that "of course the rich and wealthy should have more influence.
If you will indulge me a few moments I would like to tease out one minor little problem.
Middle Class: used to mean servants.
We have the actual budget from when Woodrow Wilson was just a College Professor and his Wife did the budget. Included were salaries for two live in servants. The Gardener, and the Maid.
Tell me. Do any of the so-called Middle Class people you know, have or could even support full time, live in servants?
