I heard all this push for people to be trans and gender ambiguous is a ploy to destroy the nuclear family and instead usher in a way to raise people as children of the state rather than as part of an individual family unit.

True, I don't know if it's newspeak I haven't looked into it enough. It seems plausible that gender and sex could be different but I think it's absurd to think they're decoupled.
So male would have the gender: man. But then again you're right this whole idea that gender and sex are different could be brainwashing.
OMG Pepe seriously that thought came to me the other night...this whole trans(sex) thing is to normalize the mutation of humans beyond what they were formally recognized as so it will be more normalized when the transhuman crap takes over. I am now trying to formulate a timeline for this happening...15 years is my ballpark guess at the moment.
The horror stories from trans people on hormones or getting surgeries will become more mainstream with time.
I think it’s a trend that will wane and wax. But there’s definitely a lot of money behind this. Only a very small portion of our population wants to switch genders, yet they get a lot of attention and funds behind them.
