Seriously. The fucking red scare has gone into overdrive. Someone on r/conspiracy posted a picture of 20 governors standing with Asian people. Scary. No names, no nothing. Don't even know if they were chinese. No nationality. Just a fucking asian witch hunt.

They were PRC diplomats that CodeMonkeyZ found meeting governors. In his original posts he provided names. But that indicates nothing, China is a major trading nation and ofc its diplomats meet with American officials, like governors, to foster economic ties. That's completely normal and unsuspicious. People were leaping from that to "this is proof they took Chinese money to..." etc. Craziness.
Yeah I read the background after. IT's scary how easy it is to rile up a portion of the population. Like... with anything. From absolute truth to complete utter bullshit, you can piss people off.
