I believe you. Several years ago, I got one of the TopMinds mods so pissed that he PM'ed me a list of accounts that he claimed I was using to avoid bans. For the most part the list was correct. However, two of the accounts had never posted or commented. They were virgin. Only someone with acccess to IPs would known that I created them. On reddit, that's admins.
Well, to be devil's advocate here, the mods can contact the admins about ban evasion and they'll nuke the accounts. Possible the admins gave them a list. I was unfairly banned from the Mandela effect sub, I went back with an alt and the mods worked with the admins to nuke all of my accounts.
Add and enforce a rule that members have to actually like discussing conspiracies. If all their posts are "debunking" and they have more downvotes than upvotes, they can GTFO.
EDIT: They GIVE more downvotes than upvotes, not receive Aka they hate all conspiracies and continually shit on the sub

There are websites you can enter usernames or emails and get personal information from people, they probably used this rather than the reddit admins
