This doesn't really explain why the 2018 EO is relevant. Assuming you're referring to EO #13848, sanctions are only targeted against foreign individuals. What's the relevance of that here?

Yeah, I see that this is going around on TD.W. I'd explain why this is irrelevant there, but they'll ban me lol.

The GOP electors could "vote" for a rock if they wanted to and it would have no effect on Nevada's allocation of electoral votes. When states "certify" their votes, it means only electors from the certified panel are allowed to cast the state's electoral votes. In Nevada's case, this means six electors from the democrat party's panel.

This twitter video is just fog and smoke that everyone is happily buying into without question.

If mods are compromised another solution would be to force a subreddit ban by the Reddit admin itself.

I've seen posts and comments on all ends of the political spectrums here so far, hopefully it stays this way.

Knowingly is exactly the issue. Technology is so vast and interwoven these days that we'll never know what exactly we're using, we need more transparency laws on this.

I doubt this gets any worse than the BLM protests this spring, the stuff just isn't concrete enough and not enough people are seriously pissed off.

I mean, the election is over and Biden's going to take office. I think it's just a question of whether or not any of this will be sufficient enough to cause civil unrest.

I'm a little cautious with what exactly these errors are. They're described as "errors" in the section you quote, but then later in section J they're described as "errors/warnings" that were mostly "configuration" related.

Gonna hold my judgment on this one until more data comes out, this report is packed with conclusory statements and smells biased.

You're assuming those scandals are actually "dirt." Most of that stuff was either unsupported or discredited (e.g., spygate). The one thing that could have possibly been run with was the Hunter laptop, but it was drowned out by the other nonsense.

The thing with Hillary was that she was already distrusted by many democrats as a result of the primaries. Biden didn't enjoy the same disfavor.

Ironically, the dirt that was thrown at Biden didn't stick (imo) because there was literally just too many unsupported allegations. It seems like every day was a new theory. Normally, this isn't an issue, the media tends to pick the big one and run with it (e.g., Benghazi). Here, it should have been the Hunter Biden theory. By virtue of Trump not being able to shut up on Twitter, however, all of these theories were endorsed equally.

That's why in law you don't throw everything you have at the jury. You pick what's most solid and run with that. The kitchen sink approach very rarely works, it tends to just dilute your most probative evidence.

I think you underestimate how many veterans split for Biden. To my knowledge, we don't have firm post-election data yet. However, in lead-up data the only age group that was majority for Trump was 55+. The majority of veterans/active-service members under that age, i.e., the ones of traditional fighting age, favored biden.

Doubt it.

'16 was unique in how many people were disenfranchised by the mess in the democratic primaries. I know dozens of repeat-democrats that didn't vote or voted for Trump because of issues with the primaries, the Benghazi allegations near Election Day were the coup de grâce.

Comparatively, Biden's absolute boring, bland nature was what gave him the win this time. There just wasn't much dirt about him, let alone any that stuck long enough.

People forget the Obama-era protests too easily imo. The birther conspiracy was way more volatile than this, especially since it overlaid with other general Tea Party movements. We literally had hanging, burning effigies of Obama.

If the fraud conspiracy was more concrete, maybe there'd be wider civil unrest. Right now, however, I don't see this getting any worse than the BLM movements did this spring.
