I understand that you're trying to make a point. But I'm telling you, you're not correct about this. The rules do not involve being declared criminally insane or any of this garbage you're declaring. If a pt come into the psych ward and becomes a threat to staff or to themselves, they can be medicated against their will, based on an MD order only. And when I say medicated against their will, I mean an injection with medication that will stop hostile and agitated behavior. The word criminal is not part of this process.

There are certain situations in a psychiatric ward where an MD may order medications given to a pt. In these certain situations, even if the pt does not agree, the pt receives medication via injection.
