Are these not the same rules that apply to COVID? If someone dies and tests positive then it is counted as a COVID death. If the same rules apply, then I think its a fair comparison.

the search engine lets you select a type of event. In this search I selected Death. If you search "All Events", some 30,000 reports come up. You can check it out yourself on the CDC VEARS reporting database

Situation is 100% believable but a teenager being vulnerable and admitting they were wrong online? Less so.
