It depends.....whistleblowers have federal and state protections. I would see this as a form of retaliation which is prohibited conduct by the employer. Was she a dominion employee? They might be violating the whistleblower protection act or certain employment laws that prohibit intimidation or retaliation by the employer to an employee reporting fraud.
It seems she doesn’t have a lawyer yet she clearly needs one ASAP. My guess would be that they would need a court order to compel her to preserve evidence and they know it but they are banking on the fact that she doesn’t have an attorney and So she has no idea Of her rights. These attorneys are definitely bully’s and will get away with it unless she gets an attorney. Once she has an attorney they have to communicate to her attorney and they won’t threaten like that. I hope she is safe, theIr henchmen are probably already planning break ins and other intimidation tactics. Sad!
It doesn’t work that way. If you are an employer and the employee reports fraud especially if this is regarding federal contracts or state contracts then the employer has an obligation to investigate and is blocked from retaliating, terminating, harassing, or intimidation of the employee. So the employer / dominion is taking on a huge liability by acting this way. This is how guilty employers act when covering up fraud. In fact the employer is supposed to cooperate and report the fraud themselves to the authorities as soon as they are aware. She probably has a strong case already against dominion as a whistleblower.
