For the last 4 years, many self-styled "conspiracy theorists" have been sucking hard on the US government's cock and pretty much abandoned what used to be the bread and butter of a conspiracy theorist: the idea that the government is evil and not to be trusted. It did not matter if the government was Republican or Democrat.

The last two months have made it clear how these people will justify abandoning their bootlicking come January 21: they will claim that the new US government is illegitimate and therefore evil and not to be trusted so we will be back to how it used to be without having to deal with too much cognitive dissonance.
