What's the deal?
It's not monitored and controlled by man. People under Babylon, don't know they are submitting to the course of this world. Babylon is religious, it has a false prophet that deceives the world. Those decieved, don't know they are decieved.
God calls his people out of Babylon in Revelation chapter 18. Submitting to Babylon is taking the mindset of Babylon. Submitting to the kingdom in Christ is taking the mindset of Christ.
The 666 passage and the 144,000 passage are just 3 verses apart.
666 is under Babylon.
144,000 is under Christ.
That's how the book of Revelation reads spiritually. I contend that the carnal mind can't understand the book of Revelation at all. It is a spiritual book about spiritual reality in It's entirety.
Share how you read it if you like. I enjoy talking about such things. My main point in that was that the mark of the beast is a spiritual mindset of Babylon that each Christian must overcome to reign with Jesus Christ.
Revelation 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them
The victorious church in Christ is given judgment, and reigns with Jesus Christ. Thrones represent spiritual power, for these Christian souls have overcome Babylon.
Revelation 3:21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne. 22 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
Sitting with Jesus Christ in His throne is promised to those who overcome Babylon. Those who overcome, become the victorious church which is the spiritual order of the 144,000 in Chapter 14.

The spiritual order of the 144,000 have overcome the mark of the beast, they reign with Jesus Christ. The spiritual order of the 144,000 become messengers to the carnal church in Christ to overcome Babylon.
Revelation 15:2 And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God. 3 And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints. 4 Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest.
The song of Moses is victory over Egypt. The song of the Lamb is victor over Babylon. Only the spiritual order of the 144,000 have learned the victory song.

If you focus on just the carnal world, that leads to your fatalism.
In the Spirit is life. As you progress from the spiritual you can see and have faith in all things working for good.
You can become and instrument of good.
My existence is not getting metaphysically worse. Jesus Christ does come to save, to each individual soul, to make a conquering church. The word church means calling out to a new place. Each individual makes up the church in Christ. You're called to a new place in Christ, where the Holy Spirit is now your teacher. That is what faith in Jesus Christ brings.
The conquering church is the purpose of the book of Revelation. You in Christ, overcoming Babylon, is the whole reason for the book. Jesus Christ pays attention to each individual soul by the Holy Spirit that he sends to teach the soul how to live in Christ. That is the true dichotomy of salvation in Christ.

Friend, you have the wrong idea of salvation. Ephesians 2:1-3 shows salvation as being saved from the death in Adam. In Christ is life, from the dead. The death in Adam is known as Babylon in the book of Revelation.
Either your submission is meaningless (because the physical world doesn’t matter) or it matters and your submission is meaningless because absolutely nothing is happening and no one is coming to save you.

I'm already in Christ, friend. Medical treatment is fine for the physical body. I look at my spiritual state more than my physical state. When you take care of the spiritual, the physical often follows suit.

You've been given a false gospel. Salvation is in Christ in this life. We are saved from the Adamic curse, we are reconciled to God by faith in the life and reign of Jesus Christ. When you put faith in the Living Lord Jesus Christ you recieve a new creation kingdom in Christ. You recieve the Holy Spirit by faith in the reign of Jesus Christ. You are reconciled to God, by faith, and recieve a very real new creation kingdom in Christ.
