The answer is we don't understand nearly as much about the weather or our world than self-indulgent scientists want everyone to believe.
Here is a personal theory that gybes with what you posted:
Imagine you are one of the ancient Egyptian priest nobility who keep all the knowledge and power and wealth amongst the few of themselves and enslave the commoners to build monuments that satisfy your egos, and you make them worship you as gods.
Then, one day, the commoners have had enough and there is a massive uprising to overthrow the Pharaoh and the priests.
The people want blood, your claims of being able to speak for the gods and of being their avatars on earth no longer frighten them.
So you and the other nobles are forced to flee from the uprising into the desert with only your base cunning and whatever you could carry on your back.
Eventually, your group of exiles comes into contact with another culture. They were very wary of strangers in ancient times...
So, you tell them that your group were the slaves, and that the people who forced you out were the evil nobles and, drawing on your same old tricks, you tell them that you have personal contact with God and your group are his chosen and that he did all these miracles to save you.
Pharaoh takes the name Moses and rhe rest is history.
Its nonsense that appeals to schizos, shills and preteens.
I can see the argument for ancient advanced civilizations and cyclic history, but the people who want to claim that it happened in the last 1000 years are like the Pentacostals that think the dinosaurs lived with man and the earth is 2500 or so years old.
Have you ever done genealogical research? Not ancestry dot com bull, but actual paper trail? Because your comment makes me wonder if you think that tons of random people for random reasons just made up dozens of names to write in their family bibles and such? This doesn't make sense when put against plain evidence... if we were talking about something going down in the 600-800's then maybe, but a few hundred years ago has written ephemera made by normal people.
Hey Axo, long time I guess since reddit. Anyway, 500 years ago, the Renaissance was in full swing across Europe, so that is a pretty big thing. It clearly had massive effects on today by way of the enlightenment, but I think you should shoot more about 400 years ago for the more "occulted" events you are alluding to. The formation of the Rothschild empire and the first Stock Exchange in London... Sometimes with these "hidden history" topics, it seems people want to substitute woowoo explanations when plain old human greed and evil pretty much covers it. Not even trying to be a debunker, its more of a "keep it simple stupid" when pondering these things: is there a potential for an amoral person to make massive profit? That is usually enough.
Here is some help: Don't write clickbait titles like a cocksucker.
If you want to get down to it, humans had weather modification since the discovery of fire. Light a forrest on fire and it will change the weather.
