Same. Some people just don't care. I kinda understand why people do not want to be aware of it all or really think about it. People have kids, they have work, they have bills. And something as far as what their rulers do does not really affect them in the short term.
That is whats so depressing for me. Most people seem to be content with just being subjects to the ruling class so to speak and being ignorant to whats going on. They don't care that their votes was disenfranchised as long as their guy wins or as long as the election is over. It's just sad.
Thats why people are up in the streets. If a court doesn't at least see this that just means that votes don't really matter.
That said, I take solace in knowing that the amount of people who turned out for the election ended up showing how corrupt the election system has gotten. Hopefully now people will wake up to it.
I think once you guys start getting your community working here it will even out more. I'm all for Trump but I understand if you don't want to see Pepe or any pro-Trump info here. Besides right now it's more of a celebratory occasion with having some Pepe memes around. I'm sure it will die out in a couple of weeks and once the mods start regular moderating this space. Either way don't take it in a negative light when it comes to Trump. You would be surprised how much our communities overlap.
Hell, Netflix and all the other streaming sites is the new television.
