That post is what gave me the idea. The helicopter is compelling, but as a stand-alone observation, there are plenty of feasible alternative explanations (same reason the video or a single drop box ping in Mules would have been insufficient). If you can cross reference independent items, say if media or people from the March drill were showing unusual activity around the school prior to shooting, those items combined with the helicopter would be compelling. I don’t purport to know what happened, but it is frustrating to me when this data obviously exists, is accessible and not that expensive (clearly the data firm did not want to be cited in the film for obvious reasons, but there are several “alternative data” providers who sell this for not all that much money). It’s wild to me that the media’s response to things they seem disinformation is all about suppression - this should be a very simple task. You could drop probably 10k and have a detailed map of activity around the shooting - it boggles the mind there is no outlet that sees doing so as a positive to break a story - even if it doesn’t show anything unexpected. Clearly “what happened” and “how can we do better operationally” is 100% backseat to prying victims families for the most emotionally impactful vignettes.
