Then you search for the next job, but you're rejected from that one as well... How far are you ready to go like that? Go live in the woods? Just because of WhatsApp?

I don't know how far I'm willing to go. Ok, in case of WhatsApp, the solution would be to get another phone, install WhatsApp on that and use it only for job purposes and nothing else. But what about digital id they are preparing to push onto everyone or some other similar bullshit?

The only prerequisite is to be more needed for them, than you need them. And this is not very difficult today, when people with more than dozen brain cells between ears become rarity, everybody need them deadly.

Sure, there are some cases when this is true, but in general, I wouldn't say that this is a rule. Human intelligence is being replaced very rapidly with AI, automation, institutions or just plain old bureaucracy. The system does not need smart people. It only tolerates them where it can't do without them, but it is working hard on eliminating that need altogether.
