Aliens or simulations theories are just pushing it down or up one layer without explaining anything. If there's a simulation then what about those running it? How did they manifest or why are THEY here?

On one level. You are here to experience life! Joy, love and all that comes with it. To do so you must unfortunately experience the opposites which everyone wants to skip.

On another level you are also here to do the right thing. You have freewill. This is why there is good and evil. If things were cut out so that there is no evil or that you can't do evil then it means you don't have freewill.

The trick is that while you are here. It may appear as if you can do evil and get away with it. In reality your actions will echo far longer than your existence. The same way matter doesn't disappear and is simply transformed. You cannot do evil and not experience the effect eventually. If not in your lifetime then after death.

I suppose you can put it like this. Consciousness/All being/God splits itself into smaller units to be able to "forget" everything it knows and experience. But there are rules and growth must be gradual. The same way a simulation can't start midway and must start from state zero or how a tree must gradually grow from a seed.

You too must grow from lower consciousness to higher consciousness until going back into the source (What some religions describe as reincarnation). The lessons you learn or fail to learn determine your next experience.

Each person's life purpose is different. You may have multiple purposes in your lifetime. Are there instances in your life where you feel proud of a certain thing? Or feel that you must have done something differently? Those are probably important decisions that you had to make and which meant you either passed that lesson or failed it. And serve to remind you the next time it comes around to make the right decision. These lessons are stored in your soul. Doesn't matter if you forget everything at old age. It won't go away. That's why some people some times are "wiser" than others although their experiences aren't much different from someone else. That's your soul.

Just do the right thing (Which may be difficult) and no worries. It's no biggie.
