Antony Blinken has roots in Ukraine. Blinken granddadfather, Meir Blinkin, was born in 1879 in Pereiaslav (now in Ukraine, then in the Russian Empire) to Yankel Blenchen (Blinkin) and Rys (Ruth) Kelman.
