I assumed he meant something like that book as a comparison, but he worded it as literally that book. I wasn't familiar with it till reading this, and upon looking at it - I'd say it's either someone's delusional fantasy, or someone ingested a hallucinating plant and documented their trip. This one was accompanied by another thread where someone claimed he was sent down there to implement his robotics degree, but that one was full of scifi monsters and seemed a bit far fetched.
