So I was busy reading my own selected article, very interesting, looks like the Jews have been there continuously for 3,500 years. Now Nehemiah says there were Arabs in Jerusalem led by Geshem in the 440s, so we can give them that much credit, but writings in Old Arabic only date back to the 9th century BC so I don't think we can stretch them back in the land as far as the Jews.
Unrelated add: Just as the Jews displaced the Canaanites in the 16th century BC, the Caphtorites displaced the Avvim, the first residents of Gaza, at that time too. So even for Gaza you have Avvim, Caphtorites, Egyptians, Philistines, Israelites, Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, Israelites again, Romans, before you get to Arab Palestinians.
