I definitely think that is a good step. But the problem I see is that we let the genie out of the bottle.....so do we back all the MMT printing with gold and then say 'well we fuxked for a few decades so we just have to accept the trillions we printed as done and now backed by gold'

It feels like it keeps the parasites in power and suggests that their outsized unfair positions are now legitimate because of hard money....feels wrong....

Like no offense....but I don't think musk deserves to be worth 200B in hard capital....
