Let me give you a meta on this.

After living all through in real-time as a grown up adult and seeing all the bullshit, lies, censorship, poisoning the well and 99% of media just ignoring it all, it's hard to be surprised, amazed, or shocked anymore.

9/11 was not a fluke, not a one-off, not an aberration.

It is business as usual, and probably people who lived through JFK assassination could tell you the same.

It's the same old shit, year after year, and nobody has been able to change the system for any better.

Our freedoms, our ability to actually find verifiable information, access to real news/journalism, general availability of critical thinking - everything has gone down for decades, every year.

No, Internet, social media, X, alt-media, hard hitting investigative journo outfits, expose books, whistle-blowers or senate hearings did not change this one bit.

If anything has changed, it is that theoretically, if you are even semi-awake, can reason and want to find out, then you can find out the bullshit a bit faster these days.

That's all that has changed.

The amount of people "awake" or things change for better? No.

So, as it is likely for things to deteriorate to worse even further, expect more of the same and prepare accordingly.

The world owes us nothing, we are not in control, and we can protect ourselves and perhaps our family.

That's it.

If you are a young whipper-snapper in you 20s-30s and feel differently, good for you! Go, have your fight, change the system.

I'm not even waiting it to crash and burn anymore.
