That Rome being the seat of Christianity is the fulfillment of Jesus 'ruling in the midst of thine enemies', since the Jews were at war with Rome at the time of Christianity and Christianity went on to take over Rome (and it's Empire) with Jesus as the figurehead whereby Europe, over the following centuries, was forced into conversion to the sect of messianic Judaism known as Christianity

Psa 110:5 The Lord at thy right hand shall strike through kings in the day of his wrath. Psa 110:6 He shall judge among the heathen, he shall fill the places with the dead bodies; he shall wound the heads over many countries.
That, as per the above verses, Jesus is to kill masses of Goyim (non-Jews) and ruin our nations, filling them up with corpses.
