Im starting to realize that all doctors are idiots.

I just came from a walk in doctor who told me.

"There is only one form of vitamin d."

"You do not absorb phosphorous in your kidney"

Like holy fuck, I know these guys are overworked and underpaid here. These guys have 10,000 people to look after and getting paid like 15$ bucks a pop or something stupid like that.

But holy fuck how does a gp not understand basic medical shit. Fuck I know im retarded and im not a doctor but my god ive spent hundreds of hours of delving into these topics. I did pretty good in school because I can retain information well, but I just have no drive to apply myself. I know that I could spend a thousand years of reading and learning and still only learn a fraction of what the human race has to offer.

But god damn.

Yes, there are two forms of vitamin d. Hydroxy vitamin d and Di Hydroxy vitamin d. How does a retard know this but not a gp?

Calcifediol, also known as calcidiol, 25-hydroxycholecalciferol, or 25-hydroxyvitamin D₃, is a form of vitamin D produced in the liver by hydroxylation of vitamin D₃ by the enzyme vitamin D 25-hydroxylase

Calcitriol is the active form of vitamin D, normally made in the kidney. It is also known as 1,25-dihydroxycholecalciferol. It is a hormone which binds to and activates the vitamin D receptor in the nucleus of the cell, which then increases the expression of many genes.

Holy fucking shit man, and telling me that the kidney doesnt absorb phosphorous, are you fucking wiTH ME?!

In general, phosphate is filtered at the glomerulus, a portion is reabsorbed by the renal tubules and the excess is excreted in the urine. This framework was demonstrated by Pitts in 1933 when he reported the relationship between phosphate reabsorption and the filtered load of phosphate

https://study.com/learn/lesson/the-renal-tubule-function-terms.html

The renal tubules are part of the nephron in the kidneys. Nephrons are the functional component of the kidneys responsible for filtering the blood to produce urine. The renal tubules reabsorb water, ions, glucose, and amino acids.

Im done I think. I think the only thing left is to give up and die. Its obvious im not going to get the help I need through the medical system.

I found a really cool chart about vitamin d deficiency as well.

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3401780

Table one shows a study done on vitamin d deficient people. These peoples levels are insanely low. 5th entry label "25 OHD ng/ml". The average vitamin d before treatment was 3.8 which is 9. something converted to nmol's..... holy smokes.

Anyway look at the phosphorous and calcium. Exactly what I thought.

The vitamin d deficiency doesnt explain the low phosphorous, these people also have lower calcium values. Mine are on the vitamin d supplemented range.

There is no way in hell what im going through is a simple vitamin d deficiency, these people are retarded here, or its a conspiracy to deny me help.

Many practitioners become confused when ordering a vitamin D test. Because 1,25-dihydroxyvitamin D is the active form of vitamin D, many practitioners think that measuring 1,25-dihydroxyvitamin D is an accurate means to estimate vitamin D stores and test for vitamin D deficiency, which is incorrect. Current Endocrine Society guidelines recommend screening for vitamin D deficiency in individuals at risk for deficiency. Serum levels of 1,25-dihyroxyvitamin D have little or no relationship to vitamin D stores but rather are regulated primarily by parathyroid hormone levels, which in turn are regulated by calcium and/or vitamin D. In vitamin D deficiency, 1,25-dihydroxyvitamin D levels go up, not down.

Literally a endocrinologist who measured the di hydroxy and said I was deficient and called it a day.

Like what the actual fuck lmao. Its un fucking believable really, I have no choice but to assume they are intentionally trying to kill me.
