They can’t just come into your house or property and take your gold either so I’m still not sure what crypto has over other untraceable assets. The gold confiscation that happened in the 1930s in the US was largely voluntary and a low percentage complied.
I’m not totally against crypto in theory but it is 100% compromised now.
