If I were an elitist psychopath, I'd run this test as scheduled, then send the death rays the next day. The fact that this is very publicised and now has a bunch of people questioning it makes me think that nothing will happen. Well, I mean, shit's gonna happen, but I'm not sure that they have the means or intent to blow up all our cell phones at the same time. The main guy I heard saying this looks like a low-level glowie to me as well (Jason Shurka).

What's unsettling is the absence of concern these psychos have about what we know and what we're arguing about on forums like this. They could publicise our demise and no one could do much about it at this point.

This statement from FEMA is also strange:

"Next month’s test is slated to begin on Oct. 4 at around 2:20 p.m. eastern time, but could be postponed to Oct. 11 if there’s severe weather or other significant events, according to FEMA."

I wouldn't think "severe weather" would be a cause to delay a test for public emergencies.
