If you are not allowed to arrest and charge your own REPRESENTATIVE for crimes and MIS-representation, then you do not have a real Republic and it is fake. You can just arrest them, try them for treason, then hold new elections to replace them with honest politicians who know the consequences for betraying the constitution and the republic (guillotines and impalements).
