But why is it so hard for many of them (or those who pretend to be them) to learn how the planes really work and what units they made from? It is insanely interesting thing in first place, how a curious man could pass by that?
PS: For those, who are uncurious: APU is Auxilary Power Unit - small jet engine that runs to provide power to plane systems when plane is already disconnected from ground power, but didn't start main engines yet. Usually the reside in the tail of plane with exhaust exatly in the place where you see that clouds of smoke running out on that video. They are small and usually have low RPM output shaft that could be used to drive a gearbox instead of ICE engine, so some enthusiasts install used APUs into their cars in place of ICE engines and get the cars with outstanding sound, fuel consumption and fueled by jet kerosene. But that's very cool.
