1. burning enormous amounts of oil and coal is probably not a great idea, considering the resulting toxins bind with the air we breeth (assuming you believe we live in a self-contained atmosphere).

2. and the idea of finding a never-ending energy source is basically a good idea.

just stating the obvious - we can debate later how important all that should be to humanity.

but more to the point, elon named his car company "tesla"

if that isn't the biggest easter egg in plain view, i don't know what is.

he should just introduce regional geomagnetic-powered tesla coils, and let the market decide.
