Well... it depends on what level you want to take it. Steiner was a very spiritual and unique person. He saw connections in everything. You could take it as basically organic farming techniques...
When I helped create their fertilizer, they had big drums of water and put in pieces of manure from the previous year. The manure had been specially prepared in a cow horn with various minerals and at certain astronomical times.
The details are out there.
It had a feeling like an old community or Tribe thing. People would take turns turning the water with their arms. Clockwise, and then gently reverse to counter clockwise. Apparently the energies of the ingredients, people involved and the spirals of the water were important.
(Water can apparently be encoded. Spirals and water encoding is a big topic to dive into.)
It took about an afternoon I think, and then the group spread out across the land, each with a bucket of the water and .... I think it was some kind of stick. We then threw /sprayed water out of the bucket across the land using the stick thing.
So if you are Spiritual you can look at it in different ways.
Then after it was done, the landowner sent some water back to the other people who helped, for their garden etc.
I think around the same time they prepared the horn and manure for the next year.
I can't remember if it was Steiner or the farmers almanac/something but there are also certain moon times when you are supposed to do things or not do things. Like, maybe avoid cropping tails during full moons because they bleed more or something. Or moon phases when it is best to plant certain crops.
Lastly, another Biodynamic farm I know uses sheep instead of fertilizer and Mexicans.
So the sheep eat all the grass/weeds in and around the rows of wine grapes but don't eat the grape vines. The sheep continuously spread their manure berries around to organically fertilize the vines.
They don't need Mexican to weed ;)
Just kidding.
Anyway, they are a big wine operation.
