Sun rays .... There are multiple layers of clouds, and they too reflect.....so light can enter through a crack in the clouds and get bounced around (dispersion)

The same thing applies to the ground....reflected rays are present ...

Ships....well the flat earth says east and west is relative to the sun's motion so you can 'follow' the sun around....same applies on a globe....fyi.

And seasons are the same on the globe as the standard fe model too........tropics of Capricorn and cancer.....same exact reasons....
