The only green thing in it is their wallets.

If they wanted a green global civilization, a lot of people are going to die first. They've done it wrong for so much longer. To divest from current systems, the ones they built their profits on takes something else, instead of bullshit.

There is nothing green in the systems they're suggesting. That's the irony. More energy usages uses more resources. Not less. More products. How many products run on electricity. More today than aren't. Comparative lifetime. None. Another newer product. Now they're talking about cars, transportation, automation, smart cities, smart homes. Etc etc. Apart from usual tech, and electronics, surging in demand.

Energy usage drives the economy, more energy usage, more growth. Nothing green about it. Another means of profit and control. Everything running on electricity is far more profit. Look at that price. It just keeps rising with the demand, everything running on it, and any profit soars. It constantly needs more energy, it is electricity, by the demand being forced. Suddenly cutting off all other competition to rig profit, while asserting control over it. You vill only buy electricity and you vill pay us far more.
