Who's to really say. I feel similar to you. Except its an idea that was pushed to test people's faith in the current religions.

I am a firm believer that whoever created the great pyramid knew that our world is a rock flying through space and that one of its functions, is essentially a giant doomsday clock.

One of the oldest systems is the zodiac system and while it has been changed over the years to better match human understanding. Whoever created it would have had the technology necessary to fly through space I think. I just have a hard time wrapping my head around how humans could build such accurate calendars by using sticks in the mud and then the greeks much later on using algebra and calculus. Humans are smart creatures, but to know all this 10000 years ago.
