No I haven't experienced it here apart from a conversation with an idiot mod who didn't agree that the planet can effectively be reset from a bunker.

I got banned because of the I win button. I made him look really stupid in the process. It was only temporary. I was briefly banned for trolling. Despite being trolled. This person a flatearther, nuclear weapons aren't for reals.

Reddit is 100% like that. Full of people you simply cannot communicate with. Unless it's in certain fringe subs where information is worth more than an advert. But the same mods and people will follow you around the entire site attacking everything you say. Literally clicking on your name and down voting everything. On Reddit down votes stop free speech, preventing you from talking. Down votes are also cleared from the pages, they delete them repeatedly. Down votes are for not echoing, simply challenging a topic that a mod or bots have often submitted. Many normal users posts are cleared for not meeting requirements especially in news and likewise subs. A culture on Reddit seems to think talking is attacking conversations with down votes when replying to a topic, in order to bash your input over the head into acceptance no matter the subject. They previously will use every means to then ban you, all because you didn't think Parasite was the greatest movie of all time.

There is no real disagreement on Reddit. It was designed to pummel advertisement.

I agree the other wins might have that culture. Anywhere that have down votes has. It is not how to speak. There is no wrong answer. There is polite conversation yes. Harder when it's being attacked. There is only prejudice not compromise or debate.
