The next one I came up with recently, and it might be the most important.
- It pits this group against people (ethnic minorities) who would, under ordinary circumstances be even more sensitive to authoritarianism, fascism and the institutionalized discrimination we are seeing today. It is tantamount to killing the canary in the coalmine.
