Not entirely, but it is true, after the Reformation a 100 year conflict in Europe, history was largely reformed by two leading historians, rewritten and adapted to suite a new narrative of change from the competing factions. This happened in the 1600s. They burnt books like the nazis, they destroyed entire libraries, churches changed. This had already happened frequently in history prior with its invasions and empires and sackings. Rome Alexandria Babylon Tyre Jerusalem Persia etc. The Chinese also burnt the books rewriting history on new Empires changing dynasty's. The Spanish rewrote Aztec and Incan history. The British Empire establishing countries. The fall of empires. The Ottoman. The Japanese. Etc etc. The rise of Christianity, and Islam.

History is an interpretation, some is recorded fact so and so existed and can be verified and established. But so much more of it is lies, lies designed to exploit the truth because a victor decides the later course of change, often from war, or twisted into religion, or the revolutions that followed its retellings.

Today they rig narratives through google providing a version of the truth on its search engine. It decides it only airs such from predesigned searches prompting you not question or research much further.

No not all of history is lies, there just isn't much truth in history at all, apart from certain facts and dates which can be traced back to people and places and events that occurred. Although the narratives behind history are often entirely dubious, and are designed to exploit the mindsets of those retelling it. These can change over time.
