Either the fireballs are one of thousands of satellites burned out from solar flares or nukes getting shot down by ETI which they have done before. The first one is the more likely option.

One of these days a massive solar flare will take out all satellites and electronic so this can be the start as the recent solar flare was pretty strong.

The good thing about all electronics eventually going out is that the deep state control systems would collapse and humans would develop organic systems that do more than computers or phones all done internally in the kingdom within. The issue is that using electronics and internet has been priming the dna responsible for connecting us to the organic tech within so if they shut down the primed dna would fully activate due to desire alone. It could take days or weeks. Not sure.

edit: I am seeing reports of satellites crashing down from the sky so I guess it is satellites which means the solar flares finally got strong enough to fry the electronics which means all electronics on Earth will be next to fry once the flares get even more intense. The flares also toggle our dna in a good way so even when the lights go out, humans will use that as an opportunity to unlock dna and do all things electric systems mostly can but without any electricity or wifi.
