Entwicklungslehre translates to "development apprenticeship"...to develop implies linear progression, while to evolve implies a circle.

The course of nature implies linear progression (inception towards death) for each being (life) within.

Notice how within the English translation IN TURN can be found...there's no word about turning in the German text.
