Interesting medical case of the person who substituted sodium chloride with sodium bromide after consulting chatgpt.
I find chubbyemu's thoughts about chatgpt at the end more interesting than the actual case itself. And I agree, chatgpt didn't tell him to take the sodium bromide, and it was technically correct about its usage, outside of the body.
I also had to chuckle when they talked about bromide poisoning from someone who was drinking a liter of soda a day. That picture was me three months ago.
The picture is actually from another chubbyemu video titled,
A Man Drank 7 Liters Soda Everyday For 10 Years. This Is What Happened To His Organs.
I remember watching this a couple years ago, but it just reinforced what I already knew. Diabetes is the main issue. Some people end up with low potassium as well.
Gee I wonder if that was why I was getting a a1c done every year. Somehow my potassium is high, magnesium is fine, vitamin d is fine, calcium is fine, phosphate is still fucking low, and the parathyroid hormone isn't even that bad which suggests to me its not parathyroidism. It appears that they are doing exactly what they are supposed to do. I dont think a endo is going to be able to help me, a nephrologist maybe.
Oh well, im sure now that I quit drinking pop ill magically get better if I just keep taking more vitamin d, just another year or two waiting for another endocrinologist. Canadian healthcare, what a treat. Whats kinda funny is that my partner who was partaking of the cola in the form of a glass every other night, had a perfect a1c score and fasting glucose result. Lmao.
Chatgpt can fuck right off sometimes too.
Your persistent low phosphate is most likely due to renal wasting triggered by occupational exposure or a subclinical tubular defect. Treating the phosphate deficit, ensuring adequate vitamin D/calcium, and ruling out cardiac & sleep disorders should gradually restore energy levels and reduce bone/muscle pain. Regular monitoring will help you stay within a safe serum range while avoiding complications such as hyperphosphatemia or secondary hyperparathyroidism.
The doctor wont even entertain the idea of it being renal phosphate wasting hes convinced its my parathyroid. Lmao I give up. Even if it is acquired Fanconi syndrome, there isn't anything I can do anyway. Take sodium phosphate/calcium/vitamin d supplements every day for the rest of my life. All so some rich ceo at arca could save a few dollars on equipment and the heating bill.
I think ill try to stop bitching about it for a bit.
Bonus pic of me, well if I was bald.
