I don't think we're modifying light for those who are fully awake and using their eyes normally, but I do think that there are powers of hypnosis that transfer imaginative forms into the place in the mind where sight is understood

you hit the nail on the head! that's it! and this can be done by a superior mind OR similar high tech

btw there are humans with this powers, there are records of people giving an empty white paper to someone and the receiver thinking its real money

we can catgerorize this under the broad umbrella of ESP, Extra Sensory Perception
