I keep on hearing more and more conversations about how certain individuals in people’s lives are slightly autistic or on the spectrum. Why do people have to be so judgmental about others because they’re a little different? I also don’t ever remember their being this many conversations about being nt before. Why is this such a main topic of discussion?

Agree. This has been something of a growing trend for at least a decade.
The mental health 'movement' was the first big movement after the gay rights for marriage. They immediately went to mental health and for years it was their big message across the board.
Started with ADHD...then BPD, Asperger's, ASD, OCD, BI-polar, anxiety etc...
It was a virtue signal for a while to say 'Im depressed, I'm anxious, I wake up feeling cold and dead and if you are like me, click like and Subscribe to know you aren't alone.....
Then this didn't last long because everyone was suddenly saying it....so suddenly, it was 'how many issues you have' and one was not enough.... additionally their is a perverse incentive to keep you 'mentally ill' and seek treatment (profit....)
Then it converted to queer stuff....because suddenly people who had all these mental issues suddenly were getting grouped online and echo chambers erupted.....they essentially made themselves identify with mental issues....
Then they called themselves a number of different things.....much like the gender stuff...and then a new catch all 'queer' 'non-binary' version was born.....neurodivergent....or neuroatypical
