I agree with you on nihilism on voting (are you an anarchist BTW?). However, if one was to vote just because...there seems to be plenty of choices.
I believe that a period of anarchy is necessary at specific junctures in the life cycle of a society in order to remove harmful elements thereof. Because innate human interest tends toward order, structure, and hierarchy, said anarchy must be measured such that subsequent restructuring is not inhibited once the harmful elements are destroyed.
