Common sense immediately showed the lockdowns were complete nonsense, tons of virologists who had the bravery to speak out against the establishment narrative laid out very simple arguments for this truth many times and yet almost no one listened or took them seriously. That is how thoroughly brainwashed the average person is, and most suffer from too much stockholm syndrome to even admit that they were duped or that the lockdowns weren't the proper response. "We were doing the best with what we knew at the time!" is a common response if you do try to get them to think about the contradictions, but this is of course nonsense given early attempts like the great barrington declaration to counter the lockdowns.

People in general have almost zero understanding of how power is structured in our society. Almost none of the people carrying out these orders have to have bad intentions or even understand that what they are doing is wrong, they simply carry out the order in their compartmentalized department at whatever minor level they are involved, not understanding that they are carrying out plans laid down years in advance by people whose name they will never hear about who work in globalist think tanks.
